What happened to six months, Bush?

McCain and Bush are now telling us we could be in Iraq for 50 to 100 years. They are trying to justify a long occupation by saying its no different than our troops being stationed in Europe, Korea and other countries around the world. Well there are two big differences. The first is that our troops aren't being murdered at the rate of two a day in those other countries, and the second is that we have no reason to station armies abroad anywhere anymore. On that I speak from experience having been stationed in Europe during my military service. Its a ridiculous waste of money for no reason. All of our NATO allies are more than capable of protecting themselves.
