May 6
Remember to vote no May 6 on the KRESA (Kalamazoo Regional Educational Services Agency) tax increase and I'll tell you why. First, I know its a renewal but any tax that was supposed to be temporary, becomes a tax increase when its not allowed to expire. Second, until the teachers union (MEA) starts allowing all school districts to shop around for their own health care programs, they show everyday that they are not concerned about how they spend taxpayer dollars. The teachers union has its own health care system (MESSA) which it forces school districts to use along with inflated premiums. MESSA premiums average around $13,000 a year while virtually the same plan under Blue Shield would be between $8,000 and $9,000 a year.

Here they come
Notice how they are preparing us for $4 gasoline by saying we are coming into the busy driving season, which will make supplies even tighter, forcing them to increase prices? Let me give you an analogy here. What if everyday at noon both Burger King and McDonald's raised the price of their burgers a buck for a couple hours? Hey, its the busy lunch hour making burger supplies tight! The first thing that would happen is that everybody would go Taco Bell or one of the other five hundred choices on Westnedge. The second thing that would happen is the owners of Burger King and McDonald's would be arrested for collusion and fixing prices.

Oh, now I understand
So the United States congress called in the five biggest oil company mafia bosses to defend their world record profits over the past couple of years. The Big Oil boys basically told them that their profits are big because their companies are big. Then they told congress that if they mess with Big Oil's tax breaks or subsidies they will treat us to $10.00 a gallon gasoline. End of hearing.

And we thought Bill could be stupid
So Hillary made a trip in 1996 to her husband's little war in Bosnia and claimed in numerous speeches that she arrived under heavy sniper fire. Now video turns up showing her arriving in Bosnia in 1996 and being greeted by smiling children, local dignitaries, and US military.
How do you get to where she is when your that stupid?

Vietnam Redux
Bush announced today that the 4000 American deaths in Iraq will not have been in vain.
Yes they will.
Just like in Viet Nam, once we pack up and leave, whatever fake make believe government we have set up will collapse and the very people we tried to eliminate will take control. That is the definition of dying in vain.

The Reverend Al Qaeda?
“No, no, no, not God bless America — God damn America!” - Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr.
The words of Barack Hussein Obama's pastor and spiritual adviser for his campaign.
Obama took the title of his 2006 autobiography, “The Audacity of Hope,” from a sermon by Wright, who baptized him and officiated at his wedding. He has called Wright “a sounding board for me to make sure that I am speaking as truthfully about what I believe as possible.”

Just lucky I guess
I have listened to every conceivable excuse from every kind of economic expert these past weeks explaining the rocketing price of fuel. They blame it on everything from the weak U.S. dollar, to the emergence of China as a major consumer of oil, or to oil speculators. It seems they go out of their way to blame everything and everybody except the oil companies themselves. All I pay attention to is the fact that a gallon of gasoline has doubled in price over the last five years and Exxon/Mobile sets a new profit margin world record with every quarterly report. Do you really believe that a company like Exxon/Mobile has no control over making a $40 billion profit every three months?
If you own a business, try increasing your prices 100% over the next five years and see where you are by the sixth.
